Shenango Institute for Public Policy

The Shenango Institute is supported through the generous support of individuals and foundations. We are a non-profit organization and have been granted tax-exempt and tax-deductible status by the Internal Revenue Service as an educational organization. This means that the IRS considers a contribution to the Shenango Institute a charitable contribution.

We believe that a contribution to the Shenango Institute is contribution to helping improve the quality of life in central-western Pennsylvania. We want to help local citizens understand their local governments and the policies that could be enacted to improve local governments. Through our studies, policy briefs, our web page, and possibly through conferences and seminars, we hope to educate local citizens about making local governments better. We have very little overhead and very little of our budget is used for fundraising. Nearly all of our money supports our educational mission. We hope you will consider supporting us.
